I struggled for many years with confidence issues. Anyone who knows me well will attest to me not being about to speak to anyone new. When I say I couldn’t speak, I mean I couldn’t speak. I found it impossible to formulate any sentences because of the discomfort.

I believe confidence must be earned, you must prove to yourself you have value. How do you do this? By daring to try new experiences. Take up a new hobby or learn a skill you haven’t tried before. Providing new things to talk about and new people to tell them to.
